ADMISSION PROCEDURE

NON SELECTIVE ONLY FOR MONTESSORI RECEPTION
Admission to Montessori Reception is non selective but depends on availability and first come basis. An interview with the child and parents is conducted with the directress, prior to offering a place, to assess the learning potential of the child and to place the child in the appropriate Reception sub-groups.

SELECTIVE ADMISSION FOR ALL OTHER LEVELS
Admission to Kindergarten onwards is academically selective. The exam and interview process is designed to identify bright children who have a natural flair for learning.

SIBLINGS
While we always endeavour to accommodate siblings for parents’ convenience and requests, we still cannot guarantee siblings admissions if they do not pass through our selection procedure.

SELECTION PROCEDURE
• Candidates are invited to sit tests in English, Mathematics and Science (Grade 3 onwards) in oral, electronic and written formats.
• An age appropriate Reading Material is also given to assess the reading age and level of the child.
• Fluency in English is an important part of our assessment as that would help the child assimilate comfortably in our school environment.
